Yes, in those days the make up artistes always felt that MORE meant better lol … it is sad too, because her face is too beautiful and did not need all this paste they put on her. I am glad that she wears less make up now and looks super gorgeous even though she is older.

saroj has worked with all great dancers of bollywood. But with none other such was created. But saroj is a great choreographer.
while madhuri, whatever dance it is, she makes that otustanding. chorepgraphy is everything, from oves to costume to set to camera movement to side dancer.. saroj is master of that.

It is interesting that the dance is on 4 beats like most of kathak… this is the difference from European dances. Dances in my country usually go on 2, 3 or 6 beats.
Saroj khan chooses to share her havenly choreo gift with us. We are blessed for it. How she chooses to look is her own province and she doesn’t have to conform to anyone’s notion of beauty.
