Synopsis – Famous Tamasha dancer Ratna challenges the Devgaav villagers to allow her to perform in their village. Sarpanch Abasaheb has prohibited Tamasha performances in the village long back. Ratna enters the village and performs. Kamal, Abasaheb’s daughter, falls in love with their driver Shankar. She gets pregnant before marriage and her father is ashamed of her. He hides her for months in a room outside the village. Abasaheb tells Ratna about her and she helps Kamal during her pregnancy. When the child is born, Abasaheb orders Ratna to kill the child. Ratna takes away the child with her and raises him. Later, when Kamal gets married, she craves to get pregnant but due to a complication, she remains childless. Abasaheb learns his lesson in the end.
