Music : Shaliendra Barve. Synopsis: Gandha is a unique film in itself as the concept of depicting the essence of smell through films is a rear phenomenon. I do not recollect any film which depicts the very essence of smell. It is a tale of three inter-woven stories. While one is a comical love story, the second is about a ruptured relationship about a HIV postive man and his wife and last story is a rural based drama. What made me sit up and write about this movie is the unique manner in which these stories capture the essence of smell. For example the very reason of attraction between the girl and the boy in the first story is because the boy has a very mesmerising scent to his body.Simple concept but beatifully portrayed.
